| Make the Cathedral in Thurles the focal point of reaching Jim O'Shea's counselling centre. The Cathedral is just over the bridge (at the end of the square) on the river Suir. It is on the left hand side of the street.It takes approx 3 minutes to drive from the Cathedral in Thurles to Jim O’Shea’s counselling centre. Keep left by the Cathedral side going in the direction of Moyne. Pass on the left of the roundabout and drive up Mitchel Street, straight through the junction past the water tower and the rugby club on the left. The graveyard is on the right. Drive for about a quarter of a mile past a large barn with the words ‘tyres’ written on it. Turn right just beyond the barn. You will pass a derelict farmhouse on the right, and further down the road three houses in a row on the right. Jim’s house is a little further on, and has an external stone chimney built from the ground up. His house is beside a small bridge. The counselling room is beside the house. |
