Teachers should ensure that their students are thoroughly instructed to ensure a feeling of competency in later life

Since parents are responsible for their children’s formation, including educational development, there is a lesson to be learned from the discussion in the last blog to ensure that the direction need is met. Most children must develop slowly in terms of learning, otherwise there is always a sense of unfinished business and not being good enough. The child loves learning and proper learning teaches competency. You can see the satisfaction in children’s faces as they become more competent and master increasingly difficult tasks as they get older. Education is like an edifice, where you need a good foundation and every storey must be carefully constructed. There is also a message here for teachers, who have the responsibility of delivering their subject areas as thoroughly as possible. Every effort should be made to ensure that all students understand the topics under discussion and that no student is left behind. This is no easy task considering the dynamics of the classroom today in terms of absenteeism, the pressure of examinations, teacher competence and enthusiasm, and the concentration level of students. You have already seen that lack of concentration comes from a parent’s failure to meet the child’s dependency needs. If a child daydreams constantly, he is in effect absent, and how can you teach someone who is effectively absent? The teacher cannot force a student to concentrate because it runs contrary to his neural wiring.
